Dear Greater Houston Area Basketball Coaches,
On-line voting is now underway for the annual High School Sports Live Slammy Awards, honoring the very best in boys and girls basketball. This year’s categories include best individual performer, most surprising team, best fans and best slam dunk.
The top vote getters in each category, which have also been divided into 5A and 4A/Other, will receive their awards in-studio during a special taping of the High School Sports Live Slammies show right after the season ends.
With that being said, I’d like to strongly encourage you to get out the vote at your respective schools. Please see the attached link, and certainly pass it on to any interested booster clubs, student groups, etc. who may be interested in casting their votes.
Last year over 50,000 votes were cast, and hopefully with your help, we’ll surpass that total this year.
